About the motif
A geometric pattern based on the traditional Japanese asanoha motif — a grid of six-pointed stars and rhombi — fills the entire surface in a rhythmic, hypnotic repetition. Delicate white lines against deep green create the effect of luminous lace, as if rays of light were passing through the leaves of a bamboo grove. The gradient flows smoothly from bright mint green at the top to a deep, almost black bottle green at the bottom, giving the pattern dramatic depth and movement.
