TURQUOISE RECTANGLES
About the motif
A pattern built from softly outlined rectangles and rounded forms that overlap, creating a rhythmic, almost musical composition. A rich palette of turquoise shades dominates — from light, almost mint white to deep, saturated sea navy — with the translucent white of the background giving the whole lightness and breathing room. The watercolor technique gives the shapes transparency and fleetingness, as if the composition were a fixed reflection of light on the surface of water. The whole brings to mind mid-century modern aesthetics combined with the expression of a painterly gesture.
Interior use
This pattern works great in your living room styled as Scandinavian or mid-century, where it becomes the main color accent against bright walls and natural wood. Your bedroom will gain freshness and calm thanks to it — the cool green of the turquoise is conducive to relaxation and unwinding. It also works well in your study as an energizing element among neutral, minimalist accents.
